Building Stronger Communities: Our Experience at the Kent Police & Support Agencies Information Day

Community engagement and collaboration with Braeburn Care

This week, we had the privilege of attending the Kent Police & Support Agencies Information/Advice Day, a significant event that underscored the importance of community engagement and collaboration. As part of National Hate Crime Awareness Week, we connected with various local organisations and agencies dedicated to enhancing the safety and well-being of our communities.

Among the key stakeholders present were our local Kent Police Community Liaison Officer, KCC Warden, Kent Fire and Rescue Officers, and representatives from the Citizens Advice Bureau’s energy advice team. We also had the opportunity to engage with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s (TWBC) Private Sector Housing, Age UK, the Home Improvement Agency, Inspire Platform, Crossroads Carers, and Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support Services, among many others.

These connections are invaluable as they allow us to strengthen our network, share knowledge, and collaborate on initiatives that directly benefit the individuals we serve. By fostering relationships with these organisations, we can enhance our services, ensuring that our customers receive holistic care that addresses not just their immediate needs, but also their safety, wellbeing, and quality of life.

For instance, by partnering with organisations like Age UK and Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support Services, we can stay informed about the latest resources and support available for our elderly customers and those living with dementia. This knowledge empowers our Care Professionals to provide more comprehensive and tailored care, which aligns with our commitment to person-centred service delivery.

Moreover, our presence at such events highlights our dedication to community engagement and advocacy. It demonstrates our proactive approach in seeking collaborations that enhance our service offerings and allow us to contribute positively to the local community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with other dedicated professionals and agencies working towards a common goal, creating a safer, more supportive environment for everyone. Community engagement and collaboration are key in our care business. Together, we can build stronger, healthier communities. If you’d like to speak to our team about the work we are doing and the services we provide, don’t hesitate to contact today.
