Established by Harriet Smith in 2014, Braeburn Care quickly became a trusted name across areas of Kent and East Sussex, serving a diverse clientele that included privately funded individuals, Kent County Council (KCC) beneficiaries, NHS patients, and residents within various Residential settings.
Harriet’s dedication and passion for delivering high quality care were evident as Braeburn Care operated seamlessly throughout Tunbridge Wells & Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Dartford, Gravesend & Swanley. The comprehensive range of services offered catered to the unique needs of each customer, reflecting Braeburn Care’s ethos of personalised and compassionate care.
However, in 2020, faced with the challenges of the global pandemic and driven by the demands of their newly acquired recruitment company, Sammons Recruitment Group, business partner and father and daughter team, Martyn and Harriet made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend operations. It was a strategic move to ensure a focus on essential services while navigating the uncertainties of the times.
Now, with renewed enthusiasm and a deep sense of purpose, from offices centred in Tunbridge Wells, Harriet is delighted to announce the re-launch of Braeburn Care. In the final stages of Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration, this relaunch signifies a return to the roots of providing outstanding home care services, across Kent and East Sussex.
Managing the operations is Katy Salliss, the first Registered Care Manager when Harriet originally started the business. Katy’s return marks a pivotal moment for the business, bringing back not just an experienced professional but also someone deeply connected to the original vision and values of Braeburn Care. Together, Harriet and Katy have a wealth of experience and knowledge in the home care sector, positioning Braeburn Care to provide a great service to customers. This relaunch is not just a reopening, it is demonstration of their commitment to build Braeburn Care back even stronger than before.
